Hello and welcome to 5th grade!
Fifth grade is an exciting year. Not only do the students have D.A.R.E. with Officer Jeff Zwicky, go to the school forest for 3 days and 2 nights and participate in the district-wide track and field day in May, they are preparing for 6th grade at the middle school. In addition to all of that, they are the "big kids" of the school, the ones the younger students look up to and model their behavior after. Lots of responsibility and fun comes with being a 5th grader.
